SIM and SD Cards
Each L6Q camera requires an active MicroSIM card to upload detections and a MicroSD card to
buffer detections in case of signal loss. A 32 GB MicroSD card is factory installed in each camera. If
purchased as part of a subscription, an active MicroSIM card is also factory installed in the camera.
Changing SIM cards does not require reprovisioning. For Agencies or Sites that choose to provide their
own SIM card, L6Q cameras support the following mobile carriers:
Verizon Mobile
AT&T Mobile
FirstNet Mobile
CAUTION: A consumer grade SIM card that is not configured for use with L6Q cameras will
incur excessive voice billing charges from the carrier! Voice charges are considered legitimate
and cannot be disputed. Only approved Internet of Things (IoT) SIM cards configured for L6Q
data should be used with the L6Q camera. Contact Vigilant Support for questions regarding
cellular carriers and approved SIM cards.
