Removing the coin-cell battery

Prerequisites
1. Follow the procedure in
CAUTION: Removing the coin-cell battery resets the BIOS setup program's settings to default. It is
recommended that you note the BIOS setup program's settings before removing the coin-cell battery.
2. Remove the microSD
3. Remove the SIM card.
4. Remove the base cover.
5. Remove the 3-cell battery
6. Remove the WLAN card.
7. Remove the WWAN card
8. Remove the M.2 2280 SSD
9. Remove the fan.

Steps
1. Disconnect the coin-cell battery cable from the connector on the system board.
2. Unroute the coin-cell battery cable from the routing guides on the palm-rest assembly.
3. Pry and remove the coin-cell battery from the palm-rest assembly.
