5.3 Insulation Distance
IEC60335-2-34 shall apply.
5.4 Insulation Resistance
Insulation resistance should be measured between the charging part and non-charging metal
part using the 500V insulation resistance tester at room temperature and normal humidity,
and it should be 10MΩ or higher.
5.5 Withstand Voltage
After the test in 5.4 is complete, apply AC voltage using the gradually ramp method between
the charging part and non-charging metal part (2E + 1000)V, (E: rated voltage). The
compressor shall withstand for one minute continuously.
5.6 Test Pressure
The compressor shall comply with IEC60335-1 and IEC60335-2-34.
5.7 Operating Noise and Vibration
There shall be no abnormal noise and vibration when the compressor is operated or starts
and stops within the usage conditions of the compressor.
5.8 Storage
* The compressor should be stored in a clean and dry place.
* The compressor is a horizontal type. It should be transported and stored in the horizontal
position.
* Do not store the compressor outdoors and in a place where water-drops from the
circumferences will pour onto it.
There may be the following harmful influence under conditions in which water-drops are
poured:
・Corrosion on the surface of the compressor (rust or blisters)
・Water entry into the terminal box.
* The compressor should be stored on a double stack at most based on the packing
specifications when shipping. Refer to Clause 14 "Packing Specifications" for details.
* The storage temperature should be within - 20 ℃ to + 50 ℃.
* The oil in this compressor is synthetic oil, which has higher moisture absorbency than
conventional oil. Do not leave it exposed to the air for a long time, and it should be limited
within 3 to 5 minutes as a guide.
5.9 Moving and Transportation
* Falling, dragging and being impacted during work are prohibited. The compressor should
be handled carefully so as not to apply force locally to the convex part, such as the pipes, the
power supply terminal box (including terminal plugs), and the legs. Also the compressor
should not be moved when holding the power supply terminal box.
* In the case of horizontal type compressors, they should be handled in the horizontal position
at the time of storage and transport.
5.10 Change and Addition
When there is a need to change or add to the items prescribed in these specifications, both
parties shall communicate the contents and the reasons in writing promptly and obtain
approval.
5.11 Discontinued Production
For models that are already delivered, production may be discontinued according to our
company's circumstances.
