Logging off

The user is automatically logged off after the display timeout. The IED returns to a state where only
reading is enabled. Manual logoff is also possible.

Turning the display backlight on

The display backlight is normally off. It turns on at power up.
To turn on the backlight manually, press any LHMI push button.
The backlight turns on and the panel is ready for further operations.
If the panel has not been used for a predefined timeout period, the backlight is switched off. The user is
logged out from the current user level after the display backlight has turned off. The factory default for
display timeout is 10 minutes. The minimum is 1 minute.
The display returns to the default view and all unconfirmed operations, for example parameter editing
and breaker selection are cancelled.

Once a user is created and written into the IED, login is possible with the password assigned
in the tool. If there is no user created, an attempt to login causes the display to show a
corresponding message.

To cancel logoff, press
Change the backlight timeout period in Main menu /Configuration /HMI /Screen /
SCREEN:1 /DisplayTimeout .
