7.2.2 Troubleshooting
@ MD does not Operate
MD may not operate if the objective lens of the Light Pickup is soiled. Clean the objective lens, then check playback operation. If the
symptom still persists, check the points according to the flowchart below.
If dust or foreign matter has deposited on the Pickup Lens, the system may skip tracks or may not display TOC (content of song titles).
Confirm that the lens is clean before making adjustment. If the lens is soiled, perform as follows:
Switch the power of the unit OFF. Apply a small amount of isopropyl alcohol to the lens cleaning paper and clean
the lens carefully. Be careful not to damage the lens. Do not touch the lens directly with your hand.
