Replacing the main cooling fan, IP21 and IP55 (UL Type 1 and UL Type 12)
frames R5...R8
WARNING!
Obey the safety instructions of the drive. If you ignore them, injury or
death, or damage to the equipment can occur.
1. Stop the drive and disconnect it from the power line. Wait for 5 minutes and
then make sure by measuring that there is no voltage. See section
safety precautions (page 24)
2. Remove the two mounting screws of the fan mounting plate at the bottom of
the drive.
3. Pull the fan mounting plate down from the side edge.
4. Unplug the fan power supply wires from the drive.
5. Lift the fan mounting plate off.
6. Remove the fan from the mounting plate.
7. Install the new fan in reverse order.
