This unit can play an audio CD, JPEG, MP3, WMA
and DivX ® file on a disc. A handy on-screen player
will appear automatically. (For example : play MP3)

Displays up to 10 music files at one time.
Use the A/v keys to navigate this list.
Press the ENTER key to enable the Action
Menu.
Displays current Action Menu functions.
Displays the current file name and Current
Playback Action icon.
Displays the total files of a folder and current
selected play mode.
Progress bar, current elapsed play time and
total time of the current file.
Action Menu Icons
Press ENTER on any file to start the Action Menu.
Press RETURN to exit the Action Menu.
PLAY- Begin playback of a file.
TYPE- Select the desired file type to be
listed on-screen. Choose from Music,
Picture, Video or All types.
PLAY MODE - Select from available
playback modes including Shuffle, Shuffle
Repeat, Repeat One, Repeat All,
Play Once and Normal.
Shuffle:Playbacks all files on the current
folder or all tracks on the disc in random
order.
Shuffle Repeat:Playbacks all files on the
current folder or all tracks on the disc in
random order repeatedly.
Repeat One:Playbacks the current file
/track repeatedly.
Play One:Playback stop after the current
file/track is being played has ended.
Normal:Resumes normal playback.
FOLDER MODE -Switches the FILE
DISPLAY MODE to display the folders
on a disc. (This option appears only in
SPLIT MODE.)
THUMBNAIL PLAY - Begin JPEG
thumbnail display playback mode.

Inserting a JPEG Disc
Press k key to select the Thumbnail play icon.
A thumbnail preview screen will display all files
on the disc automatically.
Press the A/v/4/l' keys to select a file and
then press ENTER to begin playback. All the
following images will be displayed on screen in
slideshow mode (1_ page 52).
Press the A/v/4/k keys rotate the image.
Press RETURN to exit the slide show and return
to the thumbnail preview screen. Press RETURN
again to exit the thumbnail preview screen.
Use the 4 / k keys to navigate the Action menu
items to select other playback features as listed
above.
• As below rotate clockwise:
A Fixedly angle is 0°. I' Fixedly angle is 90 °.
v Fixedly angle is 180°. 4 Fixedly angle is 270 °.

JPEG disc compatibility with this recorder is
limited as follows:
• Playable discs:
CD-ROM, CD-R (650MB / 74 min. only), DVD-
R/DVD-RW, CD-RW is not recommendable.
• CD physical format:
Mode 1, Mode 2 XA Form 1
• File system:
ISO9660 Level 1,2 or Joliet
• File name:
A file name should be in alphabet and numerals
only, and must incorporate "JPG" extension.
e.g.' ......... .JPG', .......... .JPE", .......... .JPEG'.
• Display image height and width:
