information
for
unpacking,
inspecting,
installing,
and
initially
testing
an
HP 300208
Intelligent
Network
Processor
(INP)
that is to be
added
to
an
existing
HP 3000
HP-IB Version Computer System. In this
manual,
the
HP
3000
HP-IB
Version Computer System refers to the HP 3000 Series
30,33,40,44 and 64 Computer Systems.
2-1. UNPACKING AND INITIAL INSPECTION
If the !NP printed circuit assembly (PCA)
and
assemblies are received · separately
from
the

NOTE
It is important that you ground your-
self before touching the INP-B board.
This is necessary to avoid any electro-
static discharge damage to the board.
Grounding
can be
achieved by simply
touching the CPU frame.
