Names and Functions of Parts

This section describes the names of the server parts.
4.1

Front View

Express5800/R120d-1E (2.5-inch Drive Model)
(1)
(1) Front Bezel
The cover to protect the front of the server. This cover
can be locked with the provided Bezel Lock Key.
(2) Key slot
The key slot for Bezel Lock Key that is used to lock
Front Bezel.
(3) LINK/ACT LED (green)
This LED turns on when the server is connected to the
network.
Sequential numbers 1,2,3 and 4 indicate LAN
connectors 1,2,3 and 4, respectively.
(4) Disk Access LED (green/amber)
This LED lights green when the internal hard disk drive
is being accessed.
An amber light turns on if a hard disk drive is broken,
and a light flashes green and amber alternately when a
hard disk drive is being rebuilt. (RAID System only)

(5) STATUS LED (green/amber)
This LED indicates the server status. It lights green
when the server is operating normally. If a failure is
detected, it turns on or flashes amber.
(6) Unit ID (UID) LED (blue)
This LED turns on when the UID switch is pressed.
Commands from the software also cause it to turn on
or flash.
(7) POWER LED (green/Amber)
This LED lights green when the power is ON. This LED
lights amber until the server becomes ready to power
on after the power cord is connected.
