When this unit is shipped, the switch is set to the AM/9 kHz— FM/50 kHz position. However, if this unit is
purchased in Europe or Asia and then used in the U.S.A., Cananda or Latin America, change the switch
position over to AM/10 kHz—FM/100 kHz. Incidentally, there are plans calling for a change in the AM

NOTES:
*
When the switch
position is changed, the preset contents also change and the display may indicate an
improper frequency, so the broadcasting stations whose programs you want to hear must be preset
again.
Synthesizer tuners are designed to receive programs in line with the channel spacing of the broadcast
frequencies. This means that if the channel spacing is not set properly, it may be impossible to pick up
the broadcasts or to receive the programs with a good sound quality.
