Never use a device other than an approved stylus with your MobilePro H/PC. Hard pointed or sharp objects can damage
the touch screen.
Gently touch the pointed tip of the stylus to select an object on the screen. When you are done using the stylus, return it
to its convenient holder on the MobilePro.
Installing Batteries
The MobilePro comes with two AA batteries and one Lithium battery. The AA batteries provide operating power for up to
25 hours with the backlight turned off or up to 7 hours with the backlight turned on. The back-up Lithium battery saves
MobilePro settings. Before operating your MobilePro, you must insert both batteries. The instructions in the following
sections describe how to do so.
Before using your MobilePro, you must install the main batteries and the back-up battery. Do not attempt to use
the unit without the batteries installed.
Optional rechargeable nickel metal-hydride (NiMH) batteries and an optional NiMH battery charger are also available from
your NEC dealer. You can use the NiMH batteries in place of the AA batteries provided as your main power source.
