Backlight
The MobilePro features a backlight that makes viewing the screen in dimly lit or darkened environments easier. Once you
turn on the backlight, it remains lit until you turn it off or power off the unit. If you power off the MobilePro, the backlight
automatically shuts off.
Keeping the backlight turned on depletes the battery twice as fast as when the backlight is off. Instead of 20 to 25
hours of battery life, you have approximately 4 hours.
Turn on the backlight as follows.
Open the display panel and locate the backlight key on upper-right side of the keyboard.
With power on, press the Backlight key to turn on the backlight. To turn off the backlight, press the Backlight key again.

The MobilePro H/PC has programmable function keys (F1 to F10 keys) that let you launch applications directly. The key
defaults are listed in the following table.
