The IrDA port doesn't work.
Problem
The PC card cannot be accessed.
The touch screen does not respond.
The unit powers off after pushing the
Backlight button.
The Reset button does not respond.
For further assistance, call NECCSD Customer Service and Technical Support (1-800-632-4525).
Check that nothing obstructs the path between the transmitting and receiving IR ports.
Check the procedure that you are using against the instructions in "Transferring Data" in the
software user's guide.
Troubleshooting (cont'd)
Resolution
Make sure the card is inserted correctly and seated properly.
Connect the unit to AC power using the adapter. Some cards do not operate properly unless the
AC adapter is connected.
Calibrate the stylus input. (See the software user's guide for calibration instructions.)
Reset the unit.
The main batteries are weak. Replace the main batteries.
Remove the main batteries and back-up battery. Reinstall the batteries and make sure they are
seated properly. Try resetting the unit again.
This procedure results in the loss of the memory contents.
