The system design supports double-data drive failure survivability if either of
the following service operations are performed:
•
System board replaced
•
Boot disks are reinitialized or system software is reinstalled
If the system detects an unconfigured drive, then the data is automatically
copied from the global hot spare. The global hot spare again behaves as a
spare. This scenario is usually encountered when a faulty data drive is
replaced.
