If you are using Web JetAdmin, you must copy certain
NEC SuperScript files to Web JetAdmin folders so that the
NEC SuperScript 4400 will appear properly.

First, Go to the File Location

(This assumes your CDROM is drive E:)

E:\WebJetAD\ Icons\Nss4400i.gif
E:\WebJetAD\ Images\Nss4400.gif
E:\WebJetAD\ nec_super_script_4400\CoverOpen.gif
E:\WebJetAD\ nec_super_script_4400\NoPaper.gif
E:\WebJetAD\ nec_super_script_4400\NoToner.gif
E:\WebJetAD\ nec_super_script_4400\Offline.gif
E:\WebJetAD\ nec_super_script_4400\PaperJam.gif

Second, Copy Files to WebJetAdmin Folders

(Path may vary depending on your Web JetAdmin version)

Third, Reset Web JetAdmin Discovery

1. Display Web JetAdmin 4.0.
2. In the Web JetAdmin Main page, click on Web JetAdmin
Settings.
3. Click on Modify Discovery Settings on the right side
under HP Web JetAdmin Global Settings.
4. This displays the Discovery Mechanics page. Scroll down
to the Clear Database section and click on the Clear!
button.
5. The Success page appears. At the top of the frame, click
the Discovery Settings button to re-enter the Discovery
Mechanics page.
6. Scroll down to the Start New Discovery section and click
on the Start! button.
Now, you should be able to see the NEC SuperScript 4400
when you search devices.
