Labeling channels
Channd labels appear above the on-screen channel number display
each time you turn on the "I_V,change a ch,-mnel, or press RECALL
You can choose any four characters m identify a channel.
"lb create channel labels:
1. Press MENU, and then press 4 or !1_ until the CUSTOM menu
appears.
2. Press l, or • to highlight CH LABELING.
3. Press 4 or I1_to display the CH LABELING menu.
CH INPUT will be highlighted.

4. Press the Channel Number buttons to select a channel you want
m label.

5. Press • to highlight LABEL.
6. Press 4 or I_ repeatedly m select a character for the first space,
and then press ENTER.

7. Repeat step 6 to enter the rest of the characters.
If you would likc a blank space in the label name, you must
choose an empty spacc from the list of characters. Otherwise, a
dash "-" will appe,_ in that space.
8. Repeat steps 4-7 for other channels. _(_)ucan assign labels m a
maximum of 32 channels.
"lb erase a channel label:
1. Press MENU, and then press 4 or !_ until the CUSTOM menu
appears.
2. Press i or • to highlight CH LABELING.
3. Press 4 or !_ to display the CH LABELING menu.
4. Press • to highlight CH INPUF, then select the channel you
want to dear with the Channel Number buttons.
