INSTALLING Windows Server 2008 R2

For installing an operating system on NEC Express5800/ft series, refer to the below description.
IMPORTANT:
The NEC Express5800/ft series is a precision instrument. You should ask maintenance
personnel to install it.
Before performing the NEC EXPRESS5800/ft series setup, contact your sales agent about the
latest release of ft Server Control Software.

About OS Installation

Operating System Supported by the NEC Express5800/ft series
The operating system that NEC Express5800/ft series supports is as follows:
- Microsoft® Windows Server® 2008 R2 Enterprise, hereafter called "Windows Server 2008
R2."
For more information on how to install Windows OS, refer to "Express Setup."
NEC Express5800/ft series does not support any operating systems other than the above (e.g.,
Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard x64 Edition, Windows Server 2003
Standard/Enterprise Edition, Windows 2000 or Windows NT 4.0).
