* Additional causes of protection can be due to loose
connections, associated components, CPU, etc.
* For the protection voltage value, refer to DIAG menu
No.12 described later.
• History of protection function
When the protection function has worked, its history is
stored in memory with a backup. Even if no abnormality
is noted while servicing the unit, an abnormality which
has occurred previously can be defined as long as the
backup data has been stored.
The history of the protection function is cleared when
DIAG is cancelled by selecting PRESET RESERVED
(Memory initialized) of DIAG menu No.11 or when the
backup data is erased.
• Display during menu operation
During the DIAG operation, the menu list described in the
s e c t i o n o f t h e s t a r t u p s c r e e n a p p e a r s o n t h e
superimposed screen and the function at work is indicated
on the FL indicator. The contents displayed during the
function operation are described in the later section on
details of functions.
• Operation procedure of DIAG menu and
SUB-MENU
There are 16 MENU items, each of which has some SUB-
MENU items. DSP IF STATUS also has 21 sub-menus.
DIAG menu selection
Main unit [RX-Z1]: Select the menu using
(Reverse) keys of PRESET/TUNING located in the
sealing panel.
Main unit [DSP-AZ1]: Select the menu using
and
(Reverse) keys of PROGRAM located in the
sealing panel.
Remote control unit [RAV2000Z1]: In the PARAMETER
select mode, select the DIAG menu using
(Reverse) keys.
Remote control unit [RAV225]: Set the select switch to the
PARAMETER side and select the DIAG menu using ∇
(Forward) and ∆ (Reverse) keys.
SUB-MENU selection
Main unit [RX-Z1]: Select the sub-menu using
and
(Reverse) keys of PROGRAM located in the
sealing panel.
Main unit [DSP-AZ1]: Select the sub-menu using +
(Forward) and - (Reverse) keys of SET MENU located in
the sealing panel.
Remote control unit: Select the sub-menu using +
(Forward) and - (Reverse) keys.
