Making adjustments and selections

It is recommended that images are projected continuously for at least 30 minutes before the focus is adjusted.
1)
Adjust the focus of the image roughly. (x page 37)
2)
Change the settings of the [Display] menu → [Project way] depending on the installation mode.

f Refer to "Navigating through the menu" (x page 44) for the operation of the menu screen.
3)
Press the <INPUT/ENTER> button on the control panel or the input selection (<COMPUTER 1>,
<COMPUTER 2>, <HDMI>, <VIDEO>, <MEMORY VIEWER/USB DISPLAY>) buttons on the remote
control to select the input signal.
f The <MEMORY VIEWER/USB DISPLAY> button is only for PT-LW330, PT-LW280, PT-LB360 and PT-LB330.
4)
Adjust the front and back tilt of the projector with the adjustable foot. (x page 29)
5)
Press the <AUTO SETUP> button on the remote control.
6)
Adjust the size of the image to match the screen with the zoom ring.
7)
Adjust the focus with the focus ring.

Powering Off the Projector

1)
Press the power <v/b> button on the control panel or on the remote control.
f The following message appears.
2)
Press the power <v/b> button on the control panel or on the remote control again.
f Projection of the image will stop, and the power indicator <ON(G)/STANDBY(R)> blinks in red. (The fan keeps running.)
3)
Wait until the power indicator <ON(G)/STANDBY(R)> lights in red.
f The projector enters standby mode when the power indicator <ON(G)/STANDBY(R)> lights in red.
Note
f Do not put the projector in a case before the projector is cooled enough.
f While the power indicator <ON(G)/STANDBY(R)> is blinking in red, the lamp is being cooled down and the projector cannot
be turned on. Wait until the power indicator <ON(G)/STANDBY(R)> lights in red to turn on the projector again.
