Call Appearance Preference (Option 11)

The Call Appearance Preference options determine which Call Appearance
button is selected when going off hook (lift the receiver or press SPKR). Four
choices are available:
• Ringing line preference. Default setting. Selects the Call Appearance
button that is ringing with an incoming call.
• Idle preference. Selects a Call Appearance button that is idle, if one is
available.

• Primary line preference. Selects button number 1, the Call Appearance
associated with your primary Directory Number.
If an incoming call is presented on button number 1, immediate
connection to the call is established. If button number 1 is idle, dial
tone is presented. If it is desired to go off hook to retrieve a call on hold
on button number 1, press button 1.
• No preference. Does not automatically select any Call Appearance
button when going off hook. Press the desired button either before or
after going off hook.
Selecting Call Appearance Preference
To select a Call Appearance, follow these steps:
1. Press OPTIONS, numeric key "1", "1", then ENTER.

Press either asterisk (*) to go back to sub-menu or OPTIONS to exit the option
menu.
