Problem
The coffee is not hot
enough.
The coffeemaker does not
start cleaning the coffee
bean chute.
The appliance is steaming
and it takes longer to
brew coffee.

Possible solution
Use thin-walled cups, because they absorb less heat from the coffee
than thick-walled cups.
Do not use milk that comes directly out of the fridge.
Descale the coffeemaker. See section 'Descaling the coffeemaker'
in chapter 'Cleaning and maintenance'.
Make sure the coffeemaker is connected to the mains.
Make sure the lid of the coffee bean chute is opened before
pressing and holding the grinder button for 4 seconds.
Press and hold the grinder button for 4 seconds until the grinder
starts cleaning itself.
Descale the appliance. See section 'Descaling the coffeemaker' in
chapter 'Cleaning and maintenance'.
