Alarm Data Recording Capacity

The alarm recording area of the internal memory is
approximately 16 MB in size. If all four channels have
been set to allow alarm recording, the recording
capacity will be 4 MB for each channel. If only two
channels have been set to allow alarm recording, the
recording capacity will be 8 MB for each of these
channels.
The alarm recording area is divided into a pre-alarm
recording area and a post-alarm recording area. The
sizes of the pre-alarm and post-alarm recording areas
can be set to one of six setting ratios sing the
BUFFERING AREA command in the ALARM
BUFFERING screen.
The same pre-alarm and post-alarm recording area
settings are applied to all four channels.
In addition, if an expansion memory card has been
inserted into the PC card slot at the front of the video
server, alarm data is automatically recorded onto the
memory card from the video server's alarm memory
when an alarm is received.
If a memory card is inserted, there is no restriction on
the size of the recording area for each channel (up to
the maximum capacity of the memory card). Alarms are
recorded onto the memory card in the order that they
occur, regardless of which channel they are coming
from.
A
Inserting the memory card
Check that the memory card is facing the right
way, and then insert it into the PC card slot until
it locks into place.
B
Removing the memory card
When you press the PC card eject button, the
card is unlocked, and the memory card can then
be pulled out.
A
Note:
When inserting and removing the memory card,
make sure that ALARM BUFFERING is set to
"OFF", and then turn off the power.
The PC card slot is for 16-bit 5 V cards only. Do not
use 32-bit card bus types of card, as the terminal
sections are different.
