Controllare la sede della valvola e, qualora fossero visibili tracce di
danni, procedere alla ripresa.
Check the valve seat, if there are any low spots or other damage,
the seat must be recut.
E' importante che la superficie di contatto sulla valvola si trovi nella
giusta posizione. Usare del colore per contrassegnare la posizione
della superficie di contatto che deve trovarsi a 0,5 mm dal bordo
della valvola. Se la superficie di contatto fosse troppo bassa,
ripassare la sede con le frese da 73° e 45°.
It is important that the contact surface on the valve is in the right
place on the valve. Use marking colour to determine where the
contact surface is. The contact surface should be 0.02 in. from the
edge of the valve. If the contact surface is too low, recut the seat
with the 73° and the 45° cutters.
Se la superficie di contatto fosse troppo alta, ripassare la sede con
le frese da 20° e 45°. Accertarsi che la larghezza della superficie
sia esatta.
If the contact surface is too high, recut the seat with the 20° and the
45° cutters.
Make sure that the width of the contact surface is correct.
