Service Notes "Firmware Update" for PCL Option Installation

To use PCL option individually, changing to Type B SC firmware is required. The required firmware is in the
CD included with the option.
Before proceeding, it is important to determine the Final Configuration of your machine in order to correctly
identify the required firmware from the table below. Carefully read and follow the Installation Instructions for
the appropriate option.
The firmware for SC and G3B must be updated in this sequence as a set. Please update the firmware with
the latest version as a set by referring to the following table.
