Shared Printing Windows 9x/Windows NT 4.0
Windows 95/98 print clients can share the printer with
networked computers running Windows NT 4.0 and having
a parallel connection to the printer. This requires that the
PostScript printer driver be installed on the Windows NT
computer and that the driver be configured for sharing. Print
clients then can use the network to install the PostScript
printer driver from the Windows NT computer.
Description
As seen from a Windows 95 and Windows 98 computer, the
shared Windows NT 4.0 PostScript printer driver is similar to
the Windows 95 and Windows 98 PostScript drivers. They
both have the same options and features.
