After that, configure the RAID System using LSI Software RAID Configuration Utility.
For details, refer to Chapter 2 (4. RAID System Configuration) in "Maintenance Guide".

If an optional RAID Controller (N8103-128/129/130/134) is used
If using internal Hard Disk Drives in a RAID System with an optional RAID Controller (N8103-128/
129/130/134) installed in the server, the following cable is required instead of using the interface cable
supplied with the server.
− For 3.5-inch Hard Disk Drives: K410-253(00) internal SAS/SATA cable
− For 2.5-inch Hard Disk Drives: K410-180(00) internal SAS cable
Jumper settings on the motherboard and backplane
Change the jumper pin settings as described below.
Jumper pins on motherboard (SWRAID)
Disabled: 1-2 (Default value) / Enabled: 2-3
Backplane for 2.5-inch Hard Disk Drive (provided with 2.5-inch models) (J7)

Tips
If you use the EXPRESSBUILDER DVD supplied with the server for setup, the
RAID System is automatically configured. Or, you intend to install Windows OS,
OS also can be installed automatically and seamlessly.

Tips
N8103-128/129 and N8103-128/129/130/134 are to be connected for 3.5-inch
Hard Disk Drive model and for 2.5-inch Hard Disk Drive model respectively.
Note
When installing an optional RAID Controller, start the BIOS Setup utility, select
PCI Configuration from the Advanced menu, and then make sure that the
parameter of PCI Slot xx ROM (xx is PCI slot number) is set to Enabled.
Important
Do not change the mode to hibernate when building a RAID System.
