1.12 Electrical connection

Before starting any of the following actions, the device must be
disconnected from the supply and be grounded.
During electrical installation, the regulations for heavy-current
systems must be observed.
If the transducer supplies load-independent current, the units,
e.g. recorders, telecontrol units, computers, or controllers,
must be connected in series to the outputs. The total load,
including the line resistance, may not exceed the limit
indicated in the technical specifications.
If the transducer is set to load-independent voltage supply, the
units must be connected in parallel to the transducer output.
The total load may not exceed the limit indicated in the
technical specifications
In both cases, correct polarity must be observed.
Please note, that the line resistance can cause additional
indication errors during operation with load-independent
voltage.
For connection of an auxiliary DC voltage, the polarity must
be observed.
