Setting the zero offset

As an alternative to selecting the zero offset in the selection box of the basic screen, you can
select the zero offset directly in the zero offset list.
Procedure
12.4

Set limit stop

You can limit the traversing range of the axes.
To do this, enter the values for the respective axes. The values refer to the workpiece
coordinate system. The limits can be switched on and off individually.
Activated, i.e. active set limits, are indicated by a bar next to the wind rose in the direction
graphic.
When a limit is reached, an alarm appears which disappears again when the axis is moved
away from the limit.
Note
Mode change
Entered and activated limit stops remain active after switching from JOG mode to the MDA
or AUTO mode.

1.
"Manual Machine" is active.
2.
Press the "Select ZO" vertical softkey in the basic screen.
The "Zero Offset G54...599" window opens.
3.
Position the cursor on the desired zero offset and press the "In manual"
softkey.
Now return to the basic screen and enter the selected zero offset in the
"Zero offset" field.
