Tech Note
The numbers shown on the buttons indicate the DID Translation Table Entries
used for Day/Common and Night. "Common" means that a DID will ring the same
destination 24 hours a day.

Figure 6-20 Example of DID Matches

For each Mode there are two sets of numbers. In the button above we have:
Day Mode: 1-50 and 0-0 (0-0 = no setting)
Night Mode: 51-100 and 1-50
For example, using the button above, DID 3101 should ring extension 101 during
the Day and at Night go to the Auto Attendant. DID 3102 should ring extension
102 in Day or at Night. Both 3101 and 3102 are assigned to Day Mode (1-50).
3101 is also assigned to Night Mode (51-100).
During Day Mode the system will look for a DID match from 1-50. Both numbers
are there so a match is found.
In Night Mode, the system will first look for a match from 51-100. It will find 3101
and direct the call to the Auto Attendant. It doesn't find 3102 so will next look from
1-50 for a match, which it finds, and 3102 goes to the same destination as it does
during Day Mode.
3.
Click the Add Range button (refer to
page

times, for example once for Day Mode and again for Night Mode.
