Buttons on the Event Log Page
Button
Description
Name
Displays the Event Log Filters page where filters can be selected, based on the message
level and type. Only those events with the Level(s) and/or Type(s) selected will be included
on the Event Log page.
Displays any new events that have occurred. Use this button instead of the browser's
Refresh button to ensure consistent behavior.
Saves the event log, which is a tab-delimited file (psalog.tab), to the directory specified.
Once saved, the file can be dragged and dropped onto a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet,
placing each event into its own row. The events can then be sorted. (The file can also be
opened in a text editor but the results are not as clean.)
Note: If
not displayed. Before the event log is saved, it is recommended to click
check all of the filters. Then review the log prior to saving it.
Deletes all entries from the Event Log. A confirmation message is displayed. After the log
is cleared, a new entry is displayed in the log with the date and time the log was cleared and
the name of the administrator who cleared it.
