Operation

About this section

This section describes the basic operation procedures you can carry out after the object
properties for the DNP Serial Slave OPC Client have been configured.
After this, you can, for example, monitor and control the condition of connections in
network. This is done by using the Online diagnostics function in SAB600.

Manual.

DNP Serial Slave OPC Client diagnostics

To view version information on DNP Serial Slave OPC Client or to monitor and control
the state of the client, right-click the DNP Serial Slave OPC Client and select Online
diagnostics, see Figure 4.3-1.

In Online diagnostics box you can:
• reset DNP Serial Slave OPC Client
• view the event log file, see Figure 4.3-2
• clear the event log file
