When in the Support mode, the DR4000 system displays the following alert
message:

Scheduling DR4000 System Operations
The most important thing to remember when scheduling DR4000 system
operations is that you want to perform each key system operation at a time
when it will not overlap with the running of any other of the critical system
operations.
By scheduling when you run these operations, you can optimize the system
resources and make it possible to achieve the best possible DR4000 system
performance.
To do this, plan and schedule a time period in which to perform the following
critical system operations:
•
Data ingests (which are dependent upon the DMAs)
•
Replication
•
Cleaner (space reclamation)
