DR4000 System Alert and Event Messages

The DR4000 system provides a variety of alert and system event message
types that help describe the current state your system. Review these messages,
and see if there are any actions you can perform to resolve the issue.
Dell recommends that you first refer to the material in this chapter before any
attempt is made to troubleshoot and before contacting Dell Support for
technical assistance. You may be able to resolve some basic issues using the
information in this chapter.
Some alert and event messages are purely informational, and provide general
system status. Other alert and event messages display specific status or
component information or suggest a specific task you can perform to resolve
an issue or to verify a condition exists. There are still other alert and event
messages that direct you to contact Dell Support for assistance, where Dell
Support intervention may be required.
Table 8-1 and Table 8-2 list and briefly describe the system alert and system
event messages that could be displayed during the course of backup and
deduplication-related operations. The DR4000 system alert and event
messages are grouped into the following categories:
System Alerts (see Table 8-1)
System Event Types 1 through 5 (see Table 8-2)
