Lom Adapter Replacement; Remove The Lom Adapter - Lenovo ThinkSystem SR650 Maintenance Manual

Step 1. Align the mounting stud on the system board with the corresponding hole in the rear hot-swap
drive assembly. Meanwhile, align the rear of the rear hot-swap drive assembly with the
corresponding rail guides in the rear of the chassis. Then, carefully press the rear hot-swap drive
assembly straight down into the chassis until it is fully seated.

Step 2. Connect the signal cable to the rear hot-swap drive assembly. See "Internal cable routing" on page
27.
After installing the rear hot-swap drive assembly:
1. Reinstall the drives or drive fillers into the rear hot-swap drive assembly. See "Install a hot-swap drive"
on page 122.
2. Complete the parts replacement. See "Completing the parts replacement" on page 203.
