Procedure
Step 1 Log in to the Telepresence System Manager as the super administrator.
Step 2 Click Device Control to display the device topology.
Step 3 Right-click Telepresence Host and choose Restart from the shortcut menu.
Step 4 Click OK
A message is displayed to indicate that the telepresence host will restart.

10.9 Importing a Certificate

Context
Transport Layer Security (TLS) certificates and SSL certificate are used to identify users,
certificate authorities, and servers to improve communication security. One TLS certificate was
imported into the system at delivery. You can replace the default certificate by importing the
new one you have obtained.
Before importing a certificate, make sure it is issued by a security authority to prevent security
risks.
Procedure
Step 1 Log in to the telepresence system web interface.
Step 2 Click Device Control then Import.
Step 3 Click Certificate.
Step 4 Select the desired certificate type.
Step 5 Click
Step 6 Click Import.

NOTE
Certificate types include the following:
l Server certificate: used for security authentication during SIP calls or when the system functions as
the HTTPS server. This is the default certificate type.
l Client certificate: used for security authentication during SIP registrations or calls.
l SSL certificate: used for security authentication during HTTPS activation.
l The Server certificate and Client certificate can be in PEM format only.
l The name of the SSL certificate to be imported must be root.pem, servercert.pem, or
serverkey.pem.
