10.10 Importing and Exporting Device Settings
Context
Using the Telepresence System Manager, the super administrator can export system settings or
codec settings to local storage. The super administrator can also import configuration files to
the system to implement quick configuration.
If the telepresence system is shipped with the TC320 camera, the camera settings can be imported or exported
as well. The administrator cannot perform import tasks.
Procedure
Step 1 Log in to the Telepresence System Manager as the super administrator.
Step 2 Click Device Control to display the device topology.
Step 3 Click the Import or Export tab.
Step 4 Select the content to be imported or exported.
Step 5 Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the import or export.

10.11 Restoring and Saving Device Settings
Context
Using the Telepresence System Manager, you can save the current system settings as user
settings and restore the system to these user settings when required. If you logged in as the super
administrator, you can also restore all system devices to their default settings.
Procedure
Step 1 Click Device Control to display the device topology.
Step 2 Click Restore/Save Settings.

NOTE
Importing: From the displayed dialog box, select the configuration file to be imported and
click Import. The name of the file to be imported must be config.xml or config.
Exporting: Click Save, select the path where the configuration file is to be saved, and click
Save.
Choose Restore Default Settings, and enter Telepresence host SN to restore the system
to its default settings.
