◆ When receiving Early warning "Area
Mail"
When Area Mail is received, the notification screen appears
and you are notified by the dedicated buzzer sound or
dedicated ringtone and vibration.

The buzzer sound and the ringtone cannot be changed.

◆ Setting Early warning "Area Mail"
Set whether to receive Area Mail, or set operations when
receiving Area Mail.

Set required items
Receive setting : Set whether to receive Area Mail.
Beep tone : Set the sounding time or the sound volume for
the buzzer/ringtone, or set whether to sound the buzzer/
ringtone even in silent mode.
Check screen image and beep tone : Check the reception
screen and the buzzer/ringtone sound for earthquake early
warning, tsunami warning and disaster/evacuation
information (including the emergency warning related to
weather etc.).
やさしい日本語表示 (Simple Japanese display) : Set
whether to display Earthquake Early Warning and
Tsunami Warning in simple Japanese.
翻訳・アプリ連携設定 (Translation/App link setting) : Set
to translate the received content, or set whether to use the
function for linking with the other application. This item
does not appear when the language is set to English.
