Glow Settings
This effect softens the edges of highlights, giving an effect like being struck by
a soft light.
For a sample illustration and other information, see "Digital Multi Effects
(DME)" in Chapter 1 (Volume 1).
Applying the Glow effect
Use the following procedure.

Inverting the highlight areas
Press [Glow Invert], turning it on.
The highlight and non-highlight areas are inverted.

DME Special Effect Operations
In the DME menu, select VF7 'Enhanced Video Modify' and HF4 'Glow.'
The Glow menu appears.
Press [Glow], turning it on.
This enables the Glow effect.
Note
When Glow is enabled, the key border function (see page 30) cannot be
enabled.
