Operator's Manual
The Three-state switch can be closed (main disconnector closed), opened and earthed
(earth disconnector closed). It is not possible to go directly from closed to earthed state,
or the other way around, the switch must always be opened first.
When the switch is open it can be either closed or earthed. It is also not possible to control
the switch when the state is bad or intermediate.

Operator place

The operator place setting is common to all SLD control dialogs and lets the user change
the allowed operator place for a device, either to "station", which allows controls from
the local station, or to "remote", which allows controls from the remote location (NCC).
It will often be the case that this setting is shared among all the devices in a bay, so
changing it for one changes it for the others as well.
