Drive bay number
Drive bay numbering depends on how the drive backplanes are connected:
―To a controller
・When connected to onboard SATA ports
・When connected to PCI board (AROC Type-a) installed in RAID controllerdedicated slot
・When connected to RAID controller PCI board installed in riser card

Drive bay numbering : RAID controller
When drive backplane is connected directly to controller, drive bay number starts at 1.
