7. Allow the device to heat up until the
green control lamp|1 lights up.
8. Undo the device lock|3 and open the
lid.
9. Fill every depression in the lower inter-
changeable plate with|7c/7e approx.
1/2 teaspoon of batter.
NOTE: make sure that every mould is com-
pletely filled, so that no holes are formed.
10. Close the device and the device
lock|3.
11. Leave the waffle nuts / shaped waffles
to cook for approx. 5 minutes.
12. Open the lid and remove the finished
nut shaped waffle halves / shaped
waffle halves, e. g. with a wooden
spatula.
13. Once you have finished baking waffle
nuts / shaped waffles, pull out the
mains plug|4 and allow the device to
cool.
14. Once the waffle nuts / shaped waffles
have cooled a little, carefully break off
the protruding edges.
15. Fill two halves with the desired filling
and put together. Also spread a little of
the filling onto the edges, so that the
halves stick together better.

Waffles (Belgian style)

1. Prepare a suitable batter (see "Reci-
pes" on page 10).
2. Insert the interchangeable plates|7a
into the device (see "Inserting inter-
changeable plates" on page 6).
3. Lightly grease the interchangeable
plates|7 with a little cooking oil. Use a
brush to spread the oil.
4. Close the device and the device lock|3.
5. Completely unwind the power cable|4.
6. Connect the mains plug|4 with a wall
socket. The power indicator|2 is illumi-
nated as long as the device is connect-
ed to the power supply.
7. Allow the device to heat up until the
green control lamp|1 lights up.
8. Undo the device lock|3 and open the
lid.
9. Fill each waffle area with approx.
3 tablespoons of batter.
10. Close the device and the device
lock|3.
11. Leave the waffles to cook for approx.
5 minutes.
12. Open the lid and remove the finished
waffles e. g. with a wooden spatula.
13. Once you have finished baking waf-
fles, pull out the mains plug|4 and al-
low the device to cool.
14. The finished waffles are best served im-
mediately, topped with icing sugar,
cream, fresh fruit, syrup or chocolate to
taste.
