coin-cell battery, it is recommended to note the BIOS setup program's settings.

Using a plastic scribe, gently pry the coin-cell battery out of the battery socket on the I/O board.

1. Disconnect the coin-cell battery cable from the I/O board.

2. Peel the coin-cell battery cable from the palm rest and keyboard assembly.
