Procedure
Note
Terminal ranges of the cable glands
Use cables matched to the terminal ranges of the cable glands:
• Cable gland M16 x 1.5 (plastic): Terminal range 5 to 10 mm
• Cable gland M16 x 1.5 (metal): Terminal range 6 to 10 mm
• Cable gland M20 x 1.5 (plastic/metal): Terminal range 10 to 14 mm

1. Open the door of the wall-mounted device by unscrewing the six screws in the door.
2. Remove the EMC plate on the right side panel.
3. Unscrew the union nut of the cable gland
4. Insert the connecting cable through the cable gland
5. Press the wire end ferrules (VDE 0100 Part 520) onto the ends of the wires. Now connect

Tightening the screws
Tighten the screws to the appliance plug with a torque of
• 0.5 Nm at the terminals,
• 0.3 Nm at the strain relief and the connector housing.
6. Connect the appliance plug
