Installing SD Cables
Connect the SD cable to the branching unit and antenna.
Waterproof the connectors between the SD cable and the branching unit or antenna. For details about how to waterproof
the connectors, see "Waterproofing Outdoor Connectors".

Routing IF Cables and Making Drip Loops
Route an IF cable.
A.
The IF cable should be routed from the top downwards
and should be bound at the time of routing.
B.
Make drip loops for IF cables below the RFU and near
a room entry.
C. The bending radius of the IF cable should be larger
than 30 cm (11.8 in.).
D. The IF cable should be bound using outdoor cable ties
or feeder clamps every meter (3.28 ft).
For details about how to make an IF cable, go to Pages 29 and
30.
Fix the IF cable using outdoor cable ties or feeder clamps.

Make drip loops.
After making a drip loop for an IF cable below
the RFU, coil the IF cable around the pole to
form a loop with a diameter of 0.6 m ( 23.6 in.)
for future antenna position adjustment.
Bind the labels of IF cables.

 It is recommended that you bind IF cable
labels to two ends of an IF cable and the
exit from the tower.
 It is recommended that you use the
silkscreen of an RFU port on the branching
unit as the label identification, for example,
