MAINTENANCE
METHOD FOR CLEANING AIR CONDITIONER FRESH/RECIRC FILTERS
When using compressed air, there is a danger that dirt may scatter and cause personal injury.
Always wear protective equipment such as protective eyeglasses and dust mask.
NOTICE
•
As a guideline, the filters should be cleaned every 500 hours, but on dusty jobsites, clean the filters
more frequently.
•
Before cleaning the FRESH/RECIRC air filter, stop the air conditioner.
1.
Take out the recirculation air filter (1).
Pull out the recirculation air filter (1) forward to remove it.
2.
Loosen the knob (2) and remove the filter inspection cover
(3).
3.
Remove the fresh air filter (4).
4.
Clean the recirculation air filter (1) and fresh air filter (4)
with compressed air.
•
If the recirculation air filter (1) and fresh air filter (4)
are contaminated by oil or they are extremely dirty,
wash it in a neutral detergent.
After rinsing it in water, dry it thoroughly before using it
again.
•
Replace the recirculation air filter (1) and fresh air filter
(4) with new ones every year. or if the clogging of both
filters cannot be removed by blowing with air or wash-
ing in water.
5.
Restore the recirculation air filter (1).
6.
Restore the fresh air filter (4).
7.
Install the filter inspection cover (3) and tighten the knob (2).
