Auto Install (Plug & Play) function
This automatically tunes all broadcast channels, sets the clock and date, and also seek the best RF output
channel.
Controls
VCR/TV screen
The VCR will be in the standby modeat this stage
and the VCR display will show "~—-—".

Press OPERATEbutton.
Auto" will appear in the VCR display.
At this stage, the VCR will start auto tuning, auto
channel mapping, auto clock setting, and auto RF
seek function, by which the most suitable channel
will be selected for RF OUT after auto tuning is
completed.
During this time, if your set-up include scart
connector and the TV is set to scart input, the TV
screen will display as shown.
After this process is complete, the RF output
channel will appear in the VCR display.
For example, RF output channel 35.
Tune your TV accordingly to your VCR RF output
channelandtest pattern will appear on the TV
screen(consult your TV instruction manual. The
correct tuning position is when thepicture is
clear.
Press the PLAY/STILL button.
The test pattern will disappear and the VCR change
to the operate mode.
Notes:
* If you press the OPERATEbutton inadvertently
before connectingall leads, follow the steps on
page 12 for further tuning function.
* This auto instail process needs to be engaged
only once.
* The settings will be stored in the VCR memory
even if the VCR is moved to anotherplace.
* If you do not press the PLAY/STILL button after
the autoinstall process is complete, the current
time will not appear in the VCR display.
