Reforming the DC link capacitors

Description
If the Basic Line Module and Motor Module are kept in storage for more than two years, the
DC link capacitors have to be reformed. If this is not done, the units could be damaged when
they are operated under load.
If the cabinet is commissioned within two years of its date of manufacture, the DC link
capacitors do not need to be reformed. The date of manufacture is indicated in the serial
number on the type plate (see "Technical Specifications").
Note
The DC link capacitors are reformed by applying the rated voltage without load for at least 30
minutes at room temperature.

30 minutes at room temperature.
