General instructions
• For the maximum four signal inputs "In 1" to "In 4," joints (2) and (3) are available, each

Electromagnetic compatibility
Use shielded conduits in a disturbed environment to assure high electromagnetic
compatibility. Connect the shield to the mounting plate in the SITRANS DA.

Explosion protection
As a matter of safety, all shields on shielded conduits should be laid two-sided, and the
associated functioning parts should be connected to the potential balance of the external
area. Use only approved safe feed sources, as described in the chapter "Technical data."
