Bus cable

Use only certified bus cable for PROFIBUS PA (e.g., 6XV1830-53H10).

Procedure

In order to enable the digital outputs, proceed as follows:

1. Strip the bus cable as shown in the figure below.

2. Loosen the right-hand cable clamp.

3. Pass the bus cable through the cable joint (4).

4. Secure the cable protector with the cable clamp.

5. Connect both wires to clamp 91/92 and clamp 92/94. A particular polarity is not

Explosion protection

The use of shielded conduits for the PROFIBUS PA is absolutely necessary. As a matter of

safety, all shields should be laid two-sided, and the feed source should be connected to the

potential balance of the external area.
