3. Test the Outside (CO) Lines (Test each line in turn.)

Only Test the lines that you have connected!
Procedure
1) To test CO1.
At a SL1000 Multi-Line
Telephone lift the handset
and dial #9(Trunk Access
Code) + 001(Trunk Number).
2) Check the connections
3) To test CO2.
At a SL1000 Multi-Line
Telephone lift the handset
and dial #9(Trunk Access
Code) + 002(Trunk Number).
4) To test CO3.
At a SL1000 Multi-Line
Telephone lift the handset
and dial #9(Trunk Access
Code) + 003(Trunk Number).
5) To test CO4.
At a SL1000 Multi-Line
Telephone lift the handset
and dial #9(Trunk Access
Code) + 004(Trunk Number).

Install Optional Units and Equipments

For Optional Units and equipments, refer to Hardware Manual (separate issue) for the details.
If you hear CO dialing tone the phone has working correctly.
If you do not hear dialing tone move to step 2).
Check the connections from the Outside(CO) Line to the SL1000, ensure both
wires are connected to CO1 as shown in Connecting Outside(CO) Lines on
page 18.
If you hear exchange dialing tone the line is working correctly.
If you do not hear exchange dialing tone check the connections from the
Outside(CO) line to the SL1000, ensure both wires are connected to CO2 as
shown in on page 18.
If you hear exchange dialing tone the line is working correctly.
If you do not hear exchange dialing tone check the connections from the
Outside(CO) line to the SL1000, ensure both wires are connected to CO3 as
shown in on page 18.
If you hear exchange dialing tone the line is working correctly.
If you do not hear exchange dialing tone check the connections from the
Outside(CO) line to the SL1000, ensure both wires are connected to CO4 as
shown in on page 18.
